Pros. My room seemed like the place where someone in the 1930s would've holed up to write a book. This isn't a luxury hotel, but I knew that getting into it, so it served my purposes just fine. I knew very little about Berlin before staying here so it was a nice surprise to find it close to Charlottenburg/Kurfurstendamm. The staff was very cool. Talking with the owner, Engle, was sort of like chatting with an old friend. He's very comfortable and kind. In fact he let me leave my bag there after check out while I explored the city and waited for train.
