Pros. Close to everything and right on the water so gorgeous views. It’s a quick walk into town for dinner and shopping so don’t have to deal with parking. The infinity pool is heated and very nice after a long day of hiking. Breakfast was included and it was a very nice one. No hot food but plenty of choices and everything was very fresh. The room was very comfortable and very clean. The shore path right behind the hotel is great for a nice relaxing and scenic walk.
Cons. The fire pit and bar closed at 9pm which is pretty early so we weren’t real happy with that. Also we asked about ferries to one of the local islands and the front desk staff told us they didn’t know and offered no suggestions for help. That was pretty disappointing because we had to figure it out for ourselves and wound up at the wrong harbor.
Pros. Lovely views, easy walking distance to downtown and access to Acadia was very close.
Cons. The breakfast buffet was chaotic.
