This hotel is a spectacular historic facility. You feel like you are walking 100 years into the past. The current owner has done a fantastic job of restoring the hotel in a way that merging historic preservation with modern needs. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The public areas including the lobby, casbahs, and library are welcoming and great places to relax or have a conversation with friends. The hotel's restaurant is easily one of the best in the whole city. Highly recommend. We also loved the catering services and meeting facilities. The facility was ideal for our group meetings.
Pros. This is a cool and shiek hotel.
Pros. Really great hotel. Excellent staff. Great Rooftop bar. Great restaurant in the hotel. I really liked it. Great vibe too lobby is very cool and hip feeling.
Cons. The AC could have been a tad colder cause I am a nut about that stuff. And my room was missing the inside of the blinds. But I am totally nitpicking here. I liked this hotel a lot. Maybe people from New Mexico are just super nice, but I found everyone to be super friendly.
Pros. My prepaid room was given away. After arriving at the hotel on a late flight, I was told to take a letter to a different hotel across town because they didn't have my room. This happened to several other guests that evening. The other hotel was considerably far from my meetings that brought me to town for 3 days. Hotel clerk rude and dismissive at checkin.
Cons. The hotel didn't have a pool, they give you a pass to use a public gym.. lots of homeless arround the area. My room wasn't cleaned on time so I had to call the manager.
Pros. The Andaluz has a wonderful history and the remodel saved it's antique flavor. We found the employees friendly and knowledgable about its past. Loved the bar on the 2nd floor. All the beers on tap were local.
Pros. Friendly staff, great restaurant.
Cons. Check in was in a small, cramped room. The room was kind of small, especially the bathroom. It is an older hotel that they have tried to upgrade. Not much of a view. Not in a great part of town but I am not sure Albuquerque has such a thing.
Pros. Everything !
Pros. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with every aspect. The restaurant, Mas, with its roof top bar & tapas was a very fun way to spend our first evening.
