Really solid flight! The in-flight entertainment screens are not very touch-responsive in the way that of other airlines’ are, which was my only issue. But otherwise we had good food and drink offerings and the flight attendants were very welcoming.
Lufthansa and United Airlines messed up with our reservation and they canceled our flight to Los Angeles. We ended up stuck in Frankfurt with two little kids. They sent us to San Francisco, but their flight was full and they wanted us to sit separated (even our 3-year-old was supposed to sit separated from me or my husband!!! Isn't it illegal???). Then the flight from San Francisco was delayed and we had two little sleepy kids, we were also told we needed to pick up our luggages. It was just horrible. I paid for a direct flight from Frankfurt to LAX and ended up going through hell. I am very upset and going to submit a complaint.
Crew was good. Check-in and boarding was terrible. Family wasn’t seated together. Online check-in wasn’t available.
I would’ve liked to have made that flight so I didn’t have to go to Munich and have a 24 hour travel day
Flight got canceled after a 2 hr delay followed by the to crew timing out. No help with hotels, crew were rude, only help was via an online chat. Got rebooked for a non-direct flight 48hrs later. They could not have cared less regarding how this could create a medical emergency. They refused to give us access to our luggage because it was stuck in their transit area and had to remain their to be loaded on our next flight…so we have the clothes we have in and nothing else. They told us to “go buy clothes” ignoring the fact that Munich shops are all closed on Sunday. We were told we could get refunded for our expenses BUT one crew member told us it would be wise to spend as little as possible as it will “take forever to get your money returned”. I’ll never fly them again.
They busted my entire trip via incompetent maintenance and scheduling. I'm out about 1000 dollars. Funnily the only entity to not return my money is the Dirtbag Airline United Airlines that cause me this financial inconvenience. Please for the love of god blacklist United. They're just stealing at this point. They hold reservations and break them then say it's your fault? No ma'am.
We left 3 hours late. Of 4 flights on my trip, 3 left at least 3 hours late and one flight was canceled
Great service; lots of water offered, frequent trash cleanup; tasty food
Flight was delayed for an hour and it caused a chain reaction to our connecting flight although we made it but we had to rush and run !!!! To top it off, all our luggages were DELAYED!!!!
Delayed flight with no explanations; no jetway boarding so we had to stand on the tarmac in the cold rain. Baggage was lost.
SEA to Munich flight was turbulent and you could hear rattling in the plane. The food was TERRIBLE, return flight was better. We will not fly Lufthansa in the future.
Flight was delayed for no reason and I missed my connection. This added another day of travel and I missed an event I was traveling home for.
The food was straight up bad not gonna lie, seats are uncomfortable so I had to re-adjust my self most of the time, delayed our arrival time by alot.

Upgraded to business class and it was worth every dollar! The connection in Denver was way too tight time wise and going through customs there plus re-visiting security screen again caused me to miss my connecting flight. KAYAK should not allow that tight of connection on international flights.
Plane was delayed about an hour but nice crew and service
Other than the delay of flight, this crew tried to make the best of bad situation.
Delay before takeoff, ran out of protein options for the meal served, waited on the tarmac upon landing for and hour, waited in corridor for people mover for 45 minutes and still waited at baggage claim for over 30 minutes. This was after Lufthansa cancelled our flight to Frankfurt. Will definitely be my last option when booking overseas flights.
The wi-fi wasn’t working on the flight from Munich to Chicago and I’d already paid for two devices before they notified us not to purchase it. I think that should have been mentioned as we checked in or boarded not once we were already on board during the safety brief. The flight attendant stated that we’d get a voucher, but we didn’t receive anything while on the flight, so I don’t know who’s responsible for issuing a voucher or refund.
