Cons:I didn't even pick up the car. The line was over a 2 hr wait, wrapped all the way across the multi car rental lobby. I was ridiculous. I rented a car from the company next to it and just took the loss.
Pros:Extremely helpful in arranging car rental

Cons:We had to wait in a 2.5 hour line to pick up our car at PHX airport, despite having a reservation well in advance. That would have been a real problem if our travel plans were not flexible. There were only 2 or 3 agents assisting customers at a counter that had 7 stations. No other car rental agency at the airport had a line. Everyone else in line at Thrifty had a reservation, and most through Priceline or similar service, so they had already paid for at least part of their rental and couldn't cancel and find a car through another agency. Thrifty knew in advance the number of customers picking up cars at that time (via the reservation system), but did not sufficiently staff their service counter to accommodate those customers. Will never reserve a car at Thrifty, or through Priceline, again.
Pros:The vehicle was as we hoped, the manager in charge at drop off was courteous and helpful made the overcharges right and was fair. The drop off was a breeze except for having to go up and talk to agents in the rental area to clear excessive charges.
Cons:Agent that checked me in dishonest racking up charges and fees, customer service on the phone, too many prompts too many holds no one could help me had to deal with the issues at drop off and not before so spent my vacation concerned with the excessive fees. Pick up took to long, but I know why now, the agent was finding ways to charge me in access of another $370.00 in fees/charges on top of the prepaid rental agreement, very conniving and slick, I would look twice at your receipt with Thrifty and I would not trust them to have your best interest to keep costs affordable, felt after like I was taken for a bunch of money, but all that said, management at pickup recognized that and made it right. Will use Thrifty again, but will watch them much closer, not sure I would trust them...........
Pros:The wait time to get the car was 4-1/2 hours. 2-3 agents at Thrifty were handling check in for 3 other rental companies. Even though I paid for the vehicle at the time of reservation, I had to wait in the same line. The wait was so long my rental went from 5 days to 4 days but because I rented through Kayak, or Priceline, I did not get a credit for that fifth day. The price quoted and paid at the time of reservation did not include recovery fees and taxes which totaled twice as much as quoted by Priceline and almost as much as the rental cost. The vehicle I rented was used for construction and had damage inside and out. It smelled of smoke but given the number of people renting I was happy just to get a vehicle. Given the third party involvement of Kayak combined with the pay now to save, the total out of pocket cost is far higher than renting directly from the rental companies. If there is a problem that you want to resolve, you will be passed back and forth between Kayak, the business that you actually select and the rental company. Good like talking to a real person and there is no path to actually getting the problem resolved.
Cons:Give accurate prices with all fees included and have a person, not a computer, resolve problems and quit passing the customer back and forth between the three entities. Take some resposibility.

Cons:We arrived at the car rental facility and there was a line of at least 20 people and one person working. It was 11:30pm, but there is no excuse in this day and age for customers to be waiting in line for an hour. After waiting upstairs in line for 20 minutes the woman working told us we needed to go to the lower level to get our contracts. No one stayed in order to whoever walked the fastest got to the front of the line. I waited an additional 45 minutes I line on the lower level. I sent my husband and children to our hotel in an Uber which cost $40 since my husband had to work in the morning.
Pros:The staff was friendly when I went to pick up
Cons:The fact that you advertise for a certain amount online and even go as far to send an email confirming the amount of $86 dollars and then when you pick up your card gets authorized for $400 (even though the bold big letters say $200) and still responsible to pay $200 at the end without including the gas. $120 more than the original amount is insane and should not be allowed. A bunch of crooks.
