Pros. Location WiFi
Cons. No functioning tv Old crummy pillows No irons in rooms Staff appears to listen but unwilling to act
Pros. Located near tourist attractions and good restaurants and bars. Good price. Room was spacious by urban hotel standards. Room was clean. Good internet. Spacious bath. I would stay again given price I paid of US$50/night
Cons. No English-speaking staff. None. And some of them were not very friendly or respectful of my poor attempts to communicate in Portuguese. Foreign travelers should be warned. Learn a little Portuguese if you want to stay here. For room size, there was only one little chair, so not terribly comfortable to relax. Breakfast was average or slightly below. AC seemed hit and miss. Comfort in the room went up and down. Hotel was advertised as 5 star. It was OK but I would peg as 3-4 star.
