clean, upbeat, easy access, kid friendly......
The room is nice. Bathroom is very nicely done. The fridges currently are being updated and were removed from all rooms. U request one to bring if needed - but it will be some old model and it does not fit in the “fridge space” I thought the common Hlwy’s carpets are poorly maintained. Outdoor space is very nice!!!! Restaurant food is good. Mixed drinks are average. And they don’t take cash anywhere on the premises.
Pros. Nothing.
Cons. When I arrived, the hot water and the customer service of the staff left for vacation.
Pros. The location to get to restaurants and shopping was within walking distance and there was a spa onsite.
Cons. Parking was bad. Also it was hard to relax, you could hear the neighbors conversations clearly and there was no movies to rent to just relax. Not what we imagined for our staycation.
Pros. Nice room, amenities and staff. Probably the highest end hotel in La Jolla. Staff is very accommodating and definitely this is my "go-to" when I stay in La Joalla.
Pros. Loved the person who helped us with check-in. (Troy) Rooms were great, enjoyed the lounge, pool, and games in the pool area. Hotel's in quiet but convenient location. Will stay there again.
Cons. Valet gave very poor initial impression. We arrived for check in and the valet asked if we'd valet or self-park. Once he provided the price for each, I told him we'd self-park. He then informed me the area by the front door was for valet and we'd have to move. I told him we were there to register and unload and then move the car to self-park. He got confrontational and said if the car wasn't moved within 15 minutes he'd charge me a hefty hourly rate. I told him I was going to check in and would be back to move the car as soon as we could. He said: "If you're not back in 15 minutes I'll have to charge you." TERRIBLE FIRST IMPRESSION! (We almost asked the manager on duty to cancel our stay.)
Pros. Spacious rooms, quiet.
Cons. The first room we checked into was dirty- hair on bed/pillows. We moved rooms. No amenities like fridge, shower cap, robes, etc. Very basic, simple but nice.. you have to ask for any of the "extras".
Pros. Room was very nice and the service was great.
Cons. Parking is $25 per day which should be included for the amount of money to stay there.
Pros. Beautiful hotel, we loved the lounge bar style and the rooms had a cool look to it. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Nico and the front desk. My husband and I enjoyed out quick romantic getaway and loved the proximity of this hotel.
Cons. Although the bed was not uncomfortable it seemed that the box spring was broken.
Pros. I love the room a lot. It is so clean and quiet at night. Staffs are very friendly
Cons. The overnight parking is quite expensive. It is $25 for self parking and $32 for valet.
