Blue Sea Beach Hotel enjoys incredible views of the ocean that gives it its name. Surrounded by blue and light colors that reflect the hues of the sand, guests are able to be thoroughly encapsulated in a relaxing experience. There is even some modest vegetation and a palm tree that can provide some shade. However, many prefer to take advantage of the location and step on over to the beach to catch some rays.
The rooms feature simple palates of natural and neutral colors, further continuing the theme of a beach-inspired feel. The private balconies help to blur the lines between the room and the warm, welcoming sea and sun outside. Guests can chill out there or head down to the on-site café for some coffee and refreshments. There is also a heated pool and hot tub for those who would rather do their swimming outside of the sea.
In the lobby, there are video games with a retro theme that provide a blast from the past and a touch of comforting nostalgia. The suites continue the comfort with living areas separated from the sleeping areas, so guests can feel relaxed and at home. There are also loaner bikes that can be rented, and these are a nice accommodation for those who have the desire to explore San Diego firsthand or just cruise along the beach.
Bleu Sea Beach Hotel has the ocean as its focus and the experience is enhanced by the way the hotel is able to give its guests a satisfying connection with the outdoors.

Pros. Love the location right on the beach! The staff at the front desk were very nice. Room was clean.
Cons. The bed was too soft for me, so I didn’t sleep well and my back hurt. Where we live, housekeeping in hotels aren’t allowed to touch your personal items, bu my toothbrush was moved everyday, which I didn’t like.
Pros. Location was amazing
Cons. The layout was kind of weird, and the pool area could be updated.
Pros. Ocean view! We kept our balcony door open each night to hear the ocean. The pool, hot tub and fire pit were a perfect evening gathering place. Easy walk to outdoor dining for breakfast and a happy hour drink.
Cons. Additional $24 per day parking charge. Our room was over the street so delivery trucks began the day about 5:30 a.m.
Pros. the proximity to the ocean can't be beat. the staff was very kind and helpful.
Pros. Staff was wonderful. The location was great. Really enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi.
Cons. Bathroom door ran into the door knob of another door making it very hard to get in and out of the bathroom. Also the shower had almost no water pressure.
Pros. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms and facilities were spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Our room fronted right on the boardwalk and beach. Fresh cookies and fruit available in lobby every afternoon. WiFi worked well and bathroom was nicely stocked. Small microwave, Keurig coffeemaker, and frig were appreciated.
Cons. Pool was being worked - know it has to be done sometime.
Pros. Location
Cons. Always loud late into the night every time we stay here
Pros. The location is great, it is a beach front property.
Cons. The staff from the cleaning crew to the front desk people are not friendly, they knock on your door at 9 to clean your room, you can only check in at or after 4. The beds are very uncomfortable and seems very old. There were cockroaches in the bathroom.
Pros. Beachfront location is beautiful, staff is super friendly (front desk and cleaning), room was spotless, balcony view is great, area is safe. Everything you could ask for at a great price. Highly recommend!
Cons. Parking was $20 a night (although cheaper than the nearby garage), younger teenagers were very loud in the halls and upstairs. All minimal compared to the positives of the hotel.
Pros. People were so friendly and helpful, great location, great room, restaurant so close, no need to drive just walk. Everything was so close to hotel there was no need for car.
Cons. Parking in February was easy but come summer it is a nightmare.
