Pros. Location
Cons. The noise coming from the village (music, people talking, kids screaming) made for a very unpleasant experience. Also, adding to this is the zero soundproofing of doors (entry and balcony). Laying in bed up until after 11pm, kids and people were also talking loudly in the hall, running up and down the hall and basically making it such between the noise coming from the outside “village corridor” and the hallway it was impossible to rest until well after 11pm. Then again in the morning the piped in “village” music starts again and the whole routine repeats itself. The party I was traveling with in the second room said it is quieter staying in NYC! Shower water pressure is poor - a shame because the bathroom is nice. Don’t bother trying to use the gimmick of the margarita machine. It’s a chore to use and for the $65 the hotel charges for ingredients and hit/miss quality of the actual drink go have yourself a margarita in a restaurant. The machine margarita was foamy and a waste of money. If I went back, the only room I would consider here would be the back side stream facing rooms, but that would not eliminate the possibility of kids and uncouth parents yelling and screaming in the hallways incessantly. The room prices are top of the chart for this area so one would expect a different caliber of guest and hotel in general, but it is what it is. Lipstick on a pig comes to mind.

Pros. The room has a nice fireplace which was very nice after coming in out of the cold.
Cons. The overhead heating and air unit made loud noises all night resulting in loss of sleep. The facility was nice in appearance and clean. We would say again but would request a different area. Management felt that the unit was getting ready to go out. They was going to adjust our rate but couldn’t due to booking from a second party. They did give us a voucher for the coffee shop.

Pros. Location is perfect for strolling the parkway, dining, shopping, relaxing, and having an awesome time with your friends. The rooms are very comfortable and excellent house keeping.
Cons. The hotel needs more room for checking in or needs to stagger check in times. We had to wait in our car in line for about 30 minutes to unpack, get valet service and check in. Also, disappointed that the gas to the fireplace was cut off on 4/1. The weather was unusually cold and it would have been very nice to be able to use the fireplace. We normally come in September when its 90 degrees and the fireplace is on but we have never been able to use it. Need to gauge it by the weather and not by a date on the calendar.

Pros. All rooms are on second floor. Our room/balcony overlooked village below. Rooms were spacious and beds are very comfortable. Nicely decorated. Nice private pool/bar area for guests on second floor. Great views. So many things to do/places to eat within short walking distance.

Cons. Bed was not comfortable and it's very pricey to be a hotel.
Pros. We loved being able to walk out the hotel door and have live entertainment and fun things for kids. Being able to shop onsite and have great food without driving anywhere is amazing. We could enjoy a drink at hotel bar and then go to watch the dancing water show in rocking chairs provided. We also went to Dollywood and it was great too. Also the staff was very helpful and rooms are amazing. Will definitely come back again. Fun place for all ages!!
Cons. The only negative thing would be parking away from hotel. We didn't mind the walk and they have valet parking if needed.
