Pros. Caroline at the front desk was amazing! She tried to find us a cleaner, more comfortable room. When that wasn't possible she brought us a fan and was very apologetic for the lack of cleanliness of our room. She even offered to clean it herself!
Cons. The room was outdated and dirty. There clearly had been some maintenance completed recently as there was drywall dust and white putty everywhere. Something must have been removed due to the large square of carpet that was discolored and frayed. The bathroom was dirty and we tried to touch nothing. The only reason we stayed instead of cutting our losses and going to another hotel was that it was late after a day of driving and hiking and we were getting up early so we were desperate to get to sleep.
Pros. The only good thing was the location for visiting Niagara Falls.
Cons. The pictures online did not match the hotel at all. The first room I was in the lights didn't work. We were put in a different room and that one had a shower/tub that got clogged the first time it was used and I had to pull SOMEONE ELSES HAIR out of the drain. Also the staff forgot to bring me towels when I called. The people staying there seemed like drug dealers too. They were basically living there and shady people were coming and going. Not happy.
