Location was terrific. Tired somewhat grungy old building. Room pass keys constantly failed and staff blamed us. We DID NOT lay them between credit cards and out phones😳. Later learned checking crew had trouble with our door too. Wifi didn't work.
Pros. Honestly the staff is wonderful. They were so kind and helpful. The pool area is also a wonderful plus. It's so rare in that area and a definite plus to have a place to relax outside of the hectic that is bourbon street.
Cons. The only thing that I didn't love were the elevators. They were older and a bit rickety. I think they could improve those for a smoother ride
Pros. Everything! The staff was amazing as well as the hotel. The hotel was gorgeous!
Pros. About 2 blocks from bourbon street. Clean facility. Comfy beds.
Cons. Way overpriced. $40/day valet parking only. Car valet attendant was exceptionally rude and condescending. Outdated facility. Rooms did not look like the pictures online. Didn’t have a jacuzzi in the room like it showed online, when we asked the front desk, they just laughed at us.
Pros. Staff was very nice
Cons. Room was disgusting. Hotel is old and run down. Sofa in room was torn, dresser had hunk of wood missing, carpet was torn, bathroom was dirty, room smelled musty
Cons. It was advertised online as a haunted hotel. When we got there the staff knew nothing about it being haunted. Wedding going on at pool and music was very loud in our room
Pros. front desk staff balcony complimentary morning coffee
Cons. pool property outdated stains on sheets
Pros. Hospitality, clean rooms, great view, pool, but location was everything especially for the French quarter
Cons. No complaints here
Cons. Children. I wish it was adult only.
Pros. Location in French Quarter was ideal. Atmosphere pleasant.
Cons. Check in took hours waiting for a cleaned room. Restaurant at breakfast was understaffed and it took 45 minutes to take our order. And not even offered a second cup of coffee. Poor way to start a day!!
