Pros. Front desk staff was great.
Cons. Room was not very clean. There was trash left over from the guests before we arrived to our room.
Pros. Very cute boutique hotel. The staff was so friendly, they really made you feel welcome. Rooms were clean, we had complimentary glass of champagne when we checked it.
Cons. Sink wasn't in the bathroom, it was on the outside. Not a big deal however.
Pros. Gorgeous, boutique hotel with excellent service! Short walk to the beach. Amazing roof top for watching the sun rise. Truly the most beautiful hotel we've ever been to. It felt like we were guests in someone's beautiful home away from the loud, touristy South Beach. They took excellent care of us!! I will recommend Casa Faena a thousand times.
Cons. It wasn't a problem when we stayed, but you could hear the other guests walking above our room.
Pros. This was a great, cute hotel in Miami Beach. My room had a king size bed with an ocean view. It's only across the street from the beach. Beautiful hotel. Very lovely staff!
Cons. The elevator was slow and unair conditioned.
Pros. The beach access and chairs/umbrella provided was a fantastic amenity. We were very comfortable and not overcrowded. The hotel was lovely and tastefully decorated, and we were comfortable in our room.
Cons. The reception desk system is a mess. There is only room for one person at the desk, so we had to wait for nearly 30 minutes to check in. Checkout was the same. During checkin, there was no useful information given, like how the beach access worked, when checkout was, or other amenities of the hotel. We discovered the roof deck on our own. This was the most serious of what we considered to be operational problems - it was clear that some systems had not been thoughtfully considered. Why put hand towels in the toilet/shower area, and bath towels by the sink? Was the red tassel on the door to indicate DND? How would a guest know that? The hotel seems to be sorting out some hiccups. The restaurant is also a problem. There are no prices listed on the menu, and the bar selection is limited. Lunch for two, only two entrees and two mixed drinks, was over $100. The burger was more than $25, which is laughable. Had we known the price point, we would never had chosen to eat there and felt duped and unsatisfied by the experience. The restaurant is not a stand-alone destination and the prices should reflect that.
Pros. They put me in a horrible hotel gale south beach How do you move someone that paid in full I have never heard of such a thing
Cons. I am sure they never looked at the hotel they put me at
Pros. The ambience
Cons. The noise! It was really noisy - needs new windows. It felt like all the outside noise was right in the room with me.
Pros. access to Faena beach. adorable rooftop terrace and clean beautiful room
Pros. Casa Claridge, like I stated in my title is practically a home away from home, except of course with the Beach being a block away. The amenities, staff and location are all top-notch. We needed an iron and ironing board as well as a crib for our infant daughter and at the drop of a dime, it was hauled up to our room. When you check-in, the complimentary champagne is a classy touch! Would definitely recommend. Cheers!!
Cons. We would've like to have windows in the room, that Actually open and closed. Especially in the bathroom
Cons. Parking is $55 per night. That is absurd.
