Pros. Step out and everything ( dining, activities, Sports) is right at the resorts doors.

Pros. We were pleasantly surprised with the Jackson Gore Inn. Of course the pictures do it justice, but there was so much more that was good. Like the people, and the location, and having sun all the time also helped. We were there for the summer, but since it is a ski resort, right on the mountain, that is the key attribute that brings people here. The food was good -- though with a caveat over on the didn't like -- and we would surely go back.
Cons. We had dinner very near the cut-off mark, due to a day of travelling through VT. All the food was great, except for my fried chicken. Which was just a drum stick! What? Which would have been just okay, but the batter was fried to stone. The rest of the plate was great, but the stone batter was a bit hard on the teeth. Following it up with hard root beer helped. Again, the rest of the food for the family was top-notch.
