For $200+ I would at least expect at least toothbrushes and toothpaste. No kitchenette. It appeared like they want us to only eat in there restaurants. In the cost they add a 25% tip. It was comfortable enough but it was a very basic room. Would I recommend this to a friend? Sorry, I would have to no.
The location is excellent and the staff is friendly and helpful. The standard rooms are small - I recommend the kitchenette. Parking can be dicey, though free valet helps.
Cons. There was some noise above us. They used COVID as an excuse to not clean the rooms or empty the tiny trash can, despite all guests testing negative.

Pros. Even with the renovations the hotel still held on to it's old time charm. The staff were accommodating, the bed was very comfortable and the handicapped bathroom was a super plus. Mahalo
Cons. Breakfast was overpriced. Papaya wasn't ripe. Not enough butter and syrup to cover the very large pancakes, but the people working there were very helpful.
Pros. We liked to sit by the beach on the tables on the new restaurant.fridge toaster and microwave was provided and was great so we could have early breakfast and leave to hiking. The rest was basic don't expect fancy drill. The renovation is almost finish sonwe got lucky the new restaurant is going to change things big time
