Cons:I wish that Hertz was clearer about dropping off after hours. If you must drop off your car after 10PM, just leave it in the Dollar/Thrifty section on the 4th level. I didn't know about this, and all of the signs there say that Hertz has no dropoff after 10 PM. My car wasn't due until the morning, but I got back at 11:30 PM. So, I left the parking lot - paid the parking fee of $10 bucks and returned the car the next morning, when the agent informed me of the other option - which would have saved me time and money.
Cons:When picking up the vehicle, someone actually at the counter. There were signs directing to a downstairs kiosk, but then when I got there, thr agent said I should havr been upstairs because I wasnt a premium member. He was kind and assisted me anyway, but it could have been less confusing.
Cons:They didn't have the car I paid for.
Cons:Minimal cars, they say its due to them going bankrupt. Then I was told if I did not use the rental for all the days I booked it for I would only be charged for the days I used it. They charged for the 20 days booked and I only used it for 8 days. I should have stuck with enterprise.
The car was clean. The employees made you feel comfortable. They even gave me a ride to the hotel.
Terrible! I’ll never rent with Hertz again and will NEVER book through Kayak. Car was dirty, one window broke, took 2 hours to check out. Took 45 minutes to drop off. Hertz customer service is basically non-existent and Kayak’s customer service is literally non-existent. It felt like a misinformation scam as Kayak booked us at on off-site location but in a “sneaky” way that made us believe it was at BOS airport. Do NOT use Kayak or Hertz. They should be ashamed at their lack of service.
Pros:The drop off was very easy and the customer service was easy and proactive!
Cons:I booked a SUV and when I got there they had no car for me! They gave me a much smaller and old car to drive to the airport location to exchange to a SUV. When I got there the agent told me she had to ask the manager first because they don’t do exchanges! However, they did exchange it for me and she told me I had to pay for the gas because the car I returned was empty. They gave me a car with empty gas tank. The communication between the locations has to get better.
