Arrived and they had no cars. At least 10 other people in the same boat. All with reservations. Had to find a car elsewhere.

The vehicle I reserved was not available. Had to wait two hours for a vehicle that was unclean and unsafe (driver’s side brake light out) everything about the experience was awful. Even worse than the vehicle, was the nonchalant and uncaring attitude of the Hertz employees at the DFW location.Apparently, unless you are a Hertz gold customer you get treated like aluminum foil!!!!

Terrible The car was dirty. The Hertz representative was unfamiliar with the system he was working with. He tried to explain to me that I had to return the car early, even though I had a confirmation of my reservation with the dates written on it. In the end, they charged me a fee for changing the reservation and, on top of that, another €150 for returning the car late. Despite my email to Hertz, I still haven't received a reply or a refund. This will not be tolerated anymore because I am forgetting about this company. They employ idiots.

Absolutely terrible experience where Hertz forced all customers to use a full EC vehicle instead of the manual shift gear GAS vehicle rented. They were abusive and rude to all customers and said that hey can do what they want and do not guarantee a vehicle and can substitute with what they want. People were irate and this is the same practice. The same “family” owns and controls the Hertz and Sixt locations in Ajaccio. It is pure racket and they ask you to upgrade to much larger and more expensive vehicles. Net net, I spent more than 6 hrs of my precious vacation time to look for EV charging station, find the ones that work, then queue for them and charge….horrendous, never again and this is not the Hertz standard I know
