Was not given a full size vehicle despite booking full size. Vehicle had a warning light on after picking up and I was told my only option was to spend 6 hours driving back through Denver traffic to return for a new rental car. New rental car was even smaller than the original car I was provided with. I was also charged a fee for fuel at $8.99 per gallon even though I returned the car full!Reviewed Aug 27 2024

Thos company is a bait and switch company. Very displeased. I rented a mid sized suv and paid in full when reserved. When I showed up they said I only paid for a compact suv. No, it was very clear what I rented. I had to pay more than double again to get what I wanted when I picked it up. I paid over 300 dollars when I reserved my car, when I picked it up it was almost another 500 dollars extra. I will never rent from this company again. I will never recommend this company. I will talk bad about this company to anyone looking torrent from fox rentals. Do not use them for anything. You've Been warned.Reviewed Apr 14 2024

First, they said that the reservation I made had been cancelled due that I needed to pick up the car at noon. Even do I showed them the reservation where it showed clearly that I had to pick it up at 630pm. Second, because of what I explained earlier the person at the counter gave me a much higher rate than the one I reserved online. When I complained they told me they had no more cars at the rate I had reserved initially. It seems this company is not what you expect and for some reason, they want to charge a different rate than what the client gets online. The person at the counter next to me had the same issue and was upset. Therefore, I would NOT recommend renting from this company.Reviewed Apr 1 2024

I was charged a lot more than quoted. The office wasn't wheelchair accessible so I had to get out of the chair which was very painful. The agent was so unfriendly and unhelpful and did the opposite of help us. I wouldn't book with Fox again unless I get a partial refund - which I have requested.Reviewed Dec 12 2023

It was uncomfortable. It wasn't horrid, but it wasn't decent either. The shuttle that picked us up from the airport was so old that bits of it were being held together by packing tape. (Not even duct tape!) The driver seemed annoyed to even be there, and when I asked how long the drive was to the rental place, gave me an annoyed answer of "We go in two minutes!". The guy who originally helped us at the counter, Miguel, was fantastic, but despite me having made a reservation for a smaller SUV, all Fox had to offer was a massive Toyota 4runner. Miguel tried to find something closer to the reservation and in the end, no luck. The car was clean-ish, but had stains in several places and grease on the inside of the windshield I had to clean myself for a clear window. I was offered a "locked in" rate to pay for refilling the gas tank at $3.60 rather than have to refill it before bringing it back, and rather than save me money Fox charged me for a full tank, even though I brought it with half a tank, possible more. (Filling it from 3/4 tank had been $48 @ $3.90/gal, and Fox charged a full tank for $89 despite there being just slightly under half in the tank.) When dropping the car off, there was some major confusion between two of the shuttle drivers as to whether they COULD take us to the hotel, or strictly to the airport. (Our original plan was to take the shuttle to the airport, then the hotel shuttle to the hotel, since Fox wasn't open early enough for us to drop the car off early and then go to the airport.) Eventually the one who insisted we could be taken to the hotel switched vehicles and took us there (but needed me to look up directions for him) and the whole thing just felt awkward. There were a lot of little extra fees tacked on after the fact. I won't be using their service again.Reviewed Oct 22 2023
