Pros. Great friendly front desk staff. Helped me with everything right from currency exchange to ordering late night dinner. the hotel room was comfortable, with a good line up of Free tv channels
Cons. One day, a music party went in till about 2am, and I could hear the faint beats in my room.
Pros. The nightclub outside completely takes over the hotel there was people sitting in the lobby before the club and they were so loud and rude Don't think it felt like a hotel
Cons. Noise
Pros. The price and the local area was ok
Cons. The room and hotel itself is a little out dated and could use some up keeping
Pros. The hotel was clean and fresh with ample parking underground with easy access. The staff were very informing and pleasant with myself and my fiance, mother and her friend. I like casinos and so to find the card at reception for the €20 bet was great. The king size bed was luxuriously comfortable.
Cons. When I arrived there was nowhere I could park my car in front of the hotel to check in and find out that there was ample parking underground. I had to park quite a walk away, myself and the other 3 people in my party had to struggle all that way with our bags. After settling my mom and her friend in their 393rd floor room myself and my fiance decided to walk down the one flight to our room on the 2nd floor. When we got out into the fire escape we could not get back in until we walked all the way to the ground floor. Both of us suffer with bad knees through sporting injuries and I'm only glad it was me and not my 70 year old mom and friend. There was no indication on the door saying there would be no re entry on this staircase only that it was a staircase. It was also filthy and had dead bugs on the surfaces under the stairs. The casino card was not offered, I had to find it for myself. The pillows on the bed were flat and rock hard in stark contrast to the bed itself. There was a party for someone at the hotel on the 2nd night of our stay and kept everyone in my party awake until after 4pm. They were drunkenly singing wholeheartedly outside the hotel and this wasn't stopped by any of your staff. The restaurant was very nice, but offered no simple Irish food for what we had come to Ireland to sample. Thai being the option just outside the hotel...so google and a drive to the rescue to help us find something "Irish" in Ireland.
Pros. This hotel is in a nice area called Tallaght which is about 45 mins from the airport.
Cons. Marketed as an airport hotel but far from airport and very far from city center. However, in a good area with parks and mall and movies. Tram is near to ride into city.
