I was charged $780 then $1020 for deposits for a $200 rental. I ended up canceling but not before money was taken out of my account.

Terrible, Dollar called 30 minutes before I was to pick up the vehicle and cancelled my reservation saying they didn't have a vehicle for me.

My booking was not honored because the site I used was from HongKong and my driver's license is from Canada. I have never heard of this. At LAX, the counter told me that I had to request for a cancellation through qeeq via email, and told me they would book one through her system. It was x3 the price. I have not been able to cancel through qeeq. One of the worst car rental experiences I have had. I do not recommend Dollar nor qeeq. It seems like fraud.

awful, they did not have the van they said they would even though I called ahead to make sure and they said there was nothing they could do. I ended up spending hundreds of dollars more elsewhere - I will never use dollar or go through price line again.

Rena at check-in was personal, polite, extremely efficient and provided extra tips for the stay and return of vehicle - excellent!

The long wait at the counter to pick up the car negatively tainted the entire experience. (The coffee someone had skilled on the floor in the line was also unpleasant--and hazardous. No one seemed to care that everyone was having to line up around it.). The car itself was nice and was better than expected when we took the chance on the mystery vehicle. Checking the car back in was pretty easy and, thankfully, quick.

The pick up experience was terrible. There was a situation with flight cancellations, from what I heard other customers say, which affected the pick up times of several customers. This was not communicated by any of the Dollar management team. As a result, many customers were left wondering what was happening with the bottleneck at the booth. The Dollar employees at the booth were inundated with frustrated customers who did not have their vehicles. Upper management should have communicated clearly as to why this was happening. For a positive, I liked the ease of drop off when I returned my vehicle.
