Pros. Parking was easy for me. I have a handicap placard, and was on-site; less than $7/ night. Ali, who was working the front desk, was EXCEPTIONAL! I couldn’t have asked for someone kinder or more competent. I was on the first floor and had a beautiful view of the courtyard and pool.
Cons. I was told that the thermostats to the air conditioning, in all rooms, would not go lower than 68 degrees without shorting out the system. So the coldest my room got in 3 days was 69. Unacceptable.
Cons. The patio sprinklers came on at 930 as we were still hanging out, that was a bummer.
Pros. The cafe open for breakfast was unusually good for a hotel - good Starbucks coffee, great food (fritatta with arugula and avocado was the best) and the staff super friendly and helpful.
Pros. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very quiet, comfortable, spacious, well lit, and had a good working environment with desk, desk chair, and sitting area. Shower and amenities were also good. Perhaps most helpful to me was I dropped some important receipts on the bed which then fell onto the floor. Fortunately the housekeeping staff found them when making up the room and placed them neatly on a table, rather than treating them as garbage and throwing them away, which I greatly appreciated. Easy access to city, freeways, etc.
Cons. I was in room 346, the farthest room from the lobby, and the room key didn't work the first time. I tried calling the front desk to have maintenance meet me at the room so I wouldn't have to haul luggage all the way back to the lobby or and then back to the room, or leave it unattended while I walked back to the lobby, but they didn't answer the phone despite three separate attempts. Once I'd hauled my luggage back to the front desk to get a working key, I called the phone number to see if it was ringing there or some central location, and the phones right next to the two desk agents immediately started ringing, so they were choosing not to answer. (ANNOYED.) I also had a hard time getting the temperature in the room just right. (Too hot or too cool.)
Cons. The bed was not very comfortable. Very hard and the pillows offered no support
