Pros. Staff was super helpful and accommodating
Cons. Most run-down La Quinta I've ever stayed in. Not very clean at all, and older. Not a bad room overall for say an economy motel, perfectly adequate, just not at all what I expected from a La Quinta--be aware.
Pros. Nothing
Cons. This was not the quality La Quinta I have come to expect. It was a very very dirty building in general dirty stairways, entry ways. When I travel again I will most likely not choose a La Quinta
Pros. The staff was friendly. That's the best I can say about this place.
Cons. This hotel was filthy. The pillowcases had not been changed and were covered in dirt and hair. There were dried blood spots on the bedspread. The carpet was stained and spotted. And the bathrooms looked like all the filth had been mopped into one corner of the floor and left there. There were no working lightbulbs in the bathroom. We asked to switch rooms, and the second room was even worse. Additionally, pets are allowed in ALL the rooms, which is a good thing for people with pets but not for people with severe pet allergies. There are no designated rooms for people with pets, but the receptionist assured me that even though pets were allowed to sleep in all of the rooms, they "deep clean" everything following a pet's stay. This could not be farther from the truth. We moved to one of the rooms that had been "deep cleaned" and had to leave in the middle of the night because there was so much pet hair that my daughter had an allergic reaction and couldn't breathe. This place is disgusting. Don't waste your money.
Pros. Staff was courteous.
Cons. Do not recommend. Price was substantially higher than Boise La Quinta and hotel was at least twice as old with no updates. Room, furniture, carpet and bath were old and worn. Bed was uncomfortable and located too close to hallway door. Hallway light from gap under door and continuous noise disturbed sleep throughout the night. Bath towels were not much larger than hand towels and quite thin. Hard to locate an electrical outlet that was not already being used. Plenty of other choices in the vicinity though, as others have pointed out, most Cheyenne hotels are pricey by comparison.
