Our stay was just ok. The bedding was dirty, the carpet had stains. We had to request to have our room cleaned daily. The last day of our stay it didn’t get cleaned even though we requested it twice. Other than that, the location was nice and the hotel offered nice amenities like free bike rentals and free kayaking. The pedal boats were very minimal charge and we really enjoyed that. The pool area was decent although there were not enough lounge chairs for all the guest or pool towels. On Saturday they offered movies by the pool unfortunately we missed out because we weren’t informed about it. I would rate our stay maybe a 5 out of 10.
The rugs were extremely dirty, paint was missing off the walls, and the activities were outrageously priced
Pros. Clean rooms
Cons. This place is simply a fancy motel charging hotel prices. Service was no different from a motel. Resort fee was a joke.
Pros. Everything - it was very unassuming and we were more than surprised.
Cons. Wasn't anything we didn't like
Pros. The s'more kit upon check in, super friendly and helpful staff. Very nice room, comfortable and well maintained.
Cons. We were in town for a soccer tournament and the weather was in 60s so we would have liked to enjoy the pool and lake activities.
Pros. We loved the room, bed was really comfortable. Had a great nights sleep. The pool area is great. Cabanas, two pools, two jacuzzis, and two firepitts. Plenty of space.
Cons. Staff was nice but not very knowledgeable. No one ever went out of their way to help if there was a problem.
Pros. We LOVED our one-night stay at the Lakehouse! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left - everything was perfect. We booked it last minute as a fun little getaway during the holidays. We got a pretty good deal since we stayed the night before New Year's Eve (12/30). The hotel texted us to let us know our room was ready and we were able to check in around 1 PM. We had a ground floor pool view room. Every room has a balcony with bright yellow adirondack chairs and it was really nice sitting outside our room, with a cup of coffee and my book. They had quiet reggae music playing at the pool and I really enjoyed it! The room was IMMACULATE. Everything felt new and crisp and clean. I loved the color scheme and layout too. The room was really spacious and just overall lovely. It was just 2 of us for one night but I did notice that there were a TON of outlets throughout the room. Nice touch in this day and age when we all have so many electronics to charge :) The pools were both heated and almost warm enough for me to swim in (On December 30, mind you). We loved the jacuzzis though! I wish we'd been there on a Friday when they serve Sangria at the pool! (oh well, we'll just have to go back). In the evening they have fire pits around the pools that they light and it was really pretty and romantic. The grounds were really peaceful and tranquil. And even though the hotel was probably at low to moderate capacity - it feels like the type of place that even when it's full, it doesn't feel crowded. I noticed that another couple was checked into the room next to us, and there were people above them, but I never heard anyone at all when we were in our room. They serve free coffee in the morning at their little cafe and it was better than that your standard free hotel coffee. We walked by the lake, but didn't participate in any of the many lake activities. I also went for a run in the neighborhood in the morning and it's a really cute little community. We had a great time at the Lakehouse and kept saying we really wanted to bring friends back!
Pros. great value for the price. We had a great time !
Cons. Tons of bugs. Couldn't use the beautiful balcony.
Pros. I loved the room and the fact that it was right by the lake. It had a great view.
Cons. The only thing I didn't like was that hardly and water came out from the shower or the sink but besides that everything else was great!
