Pros. loved everything. lovely experience
Pros. Great service that is unmatched. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere
Pros. clean quiet location
Cons. Spa is not up to 5 star standards limited dining choices
Pros. Excellent service… Staff was truly attentive, professional, and welcoming. Facilities are excellent and well-maintained… Subtle elegance. Food is the best I've experience in Cancun over the years… Fantino is outstanding! Beach is great… good waves too.
Cons. Some things, with which we'd expect The Ritz-Carlton to do better… Major item: The bed, while clearly of "high quality", caused both of us to have noticeable back aching. Medium item: Fantino is perhaps one of the best restaurants in Mexico, and it delivered quite nicely. However, we ordered Carpaccio for our appetizer, and it was never delivered and never acknowledged. Minor item: The staff consistently failed to refill our Perrier sparkling water, even though attending to the other items during our meals. It's as if the water bottle were invisible! Minor item: Although the Ritz-Carlton does very well overall to provide "silence and darkness" for a good night's sleep, the thermostat in the room was noticeable in clicking on & off every few minutes.
Pros. the bell boys, valet, Wait staff are incredibly attentive and very polite. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Overall the hotel has a very luxurious feel.
Cons. The front lobby staff can be a bit nicer, more welcoming and less grumpy-looking especially when being asked a question.
Pros. This resort has the best beach and pool service we've ever experienced.
Cons. The resort was hosting other large convention-type groups with some immature guests.
