I booked a car for pick up at 4:30 pm on 5/27/22. The honolulu airport budget seemed to have minimal cars available. I was told that even though I had a pick up time, it was going to be about an hour wait. Given the fact I had dinner plans, I had to cancel the reservation. I booked an Uber instead.
Cons:Easy pick up/drop off. Cheaper at the airport than in the city.
Pros:Good price. Easy drop off.
Cons:Long wait for pick up.
It took two hours to pick up car only 2 people at counter Car was great and drop off great people great but just wait time to get and I wanted to start my vacation Lack of sleep getting there in plane and fatigue doesn’t help either
I felt this was a scam. They keep on charging my credit card for no reason and I have to continuously deal with that. Once I call them out on it, they remove the charge but only a few days later it appears again. Poor business and won't be renting cars with them anymore.
I reserved for the Chrysler Pacifica but I end up with a ford expedition. The Hyatt centric garage was too low and the our rental won’t fit on the parking.
Not the best. When I picked up the vehicle, there were several scuffs, dings and damage to the vehicle. None of which was noted when I picked the vehicle up. I took pictures of all of them. Luckily I did pay for the additional insurance that covers dings, wheels, broken windows, etc. But it is giving SCAM. If I hadn't taken out the additional insurance they would have charged me for damages that were already incurred before I ever picked it up. Also, the wheels were deflated by 10lbs and I could NOT find a gas station that provided air or water. To refill them. This was dangerous and CARELESS. The truck itself was fine. Very big. A little hard to navigate with the narrow parking and roads in Hawaii/ Oahu. I would recommend getting a smaller vehicle... the Dodge Ram was overkill on size and gas mileage was not good either.
