I booked a queen room, but our plans changed and we needed different dates. The hotel was fine with this but Kayak would not change the dates of the reservation. After much back and forth, I had to get a king room and pay for an extra night. The staff was as accommodating as they were able but such a disappointment to have to stay in a smaller room for extra money.
Pros. Such a cute place. Location was good. Smores by the fire were amazing.
Pros. Comfy bed although bathroom was tiny tiny. Breakfast was great, open and friendly staff.
Cons. Offer guests charging stations for phones/laptops
Pros. Great location, quiet area, recently renovated, friendly staff.
Cons. Our room didn't have curtains, and the mini blinds did not block a lot of light
Pros. Great location, walking distance to farmer's market, parks, Pearl St. Lounge is very great convivial, great for families.
Cons. AC in our room struggled to keep up with above-average temps while we were there. But front desk provided fan to help with situation.
Pros. Staff was efficient and accommodated my request for a quiet room. Room was comfortable, though initially overheated. Location excellent: close to Pearl St, university, and offices.
Cons. Very poor quality breakfast. Parking lot was partially covered in ice (dangerously so) because of drainage problem.
