Pros. My boyfriend and I came to Berkeley to see a concert at the Greek Theatre and the Knights Inn was the perfect place to stay. It's within walking distance of a bunch of places to eat and is also about a mile/mile and a half away form the Telegraph and UC Berkeley. Management was very nice. Although the rooms are a little small, they were very clean and seemed recently updated. There's free parking right outside your room which was a major plus. The environment was decently quiet besides the traffic. Definitely worth the price.
Pros. Close to downtown Berkeley. Clean. Great water pressure in the shower.
Cons. Could use another chair in the room.
Pros. Very focused on customer satisfaction. Nice healthy breakfast.
Cons. All good.
Pros. The room was basically clean and included a good selection of amenities like a fridge and microwave. There are several restaurants within walking distance, plus a BART (subway) station, and there's a Zipcar parking lot right next to the motel for those who can use them.
Cons. It's a little far from downtown, but still not bad. Also, this is a minor thing, but in many cases if I wasn't out of the room by 9 AM or so, it wouldn't get cleaned. The front lobby has very little space, and parking is cramped.
