Cons. Staff could be friendlier, better AC, fix shower floors, the whole bathroom gets wer
Pros. The new restaurant is fantastic. Traditional Norwegian dishes with a modern twist. Clean, modern comfortable room. Happy to have wooden floor with no carpeting. Very attentive staff and excellent service. Very welcoming atmosphere!
Cons. It was surprising how many people who worked there did not speak Norwegian.
Pros. We chose this hotel based on its proximity to the train station. It is a large facility with 20+ floors and good views over the city.
Cons. Very disappointed we were not able to have dinner in the top of the facility because it's closed on Sunday. The entrance to the hotel was uninviting - dirty, stained concrete, looks across at another large building, very little greenery or flowers in a country that usually has spectacular displays. The only dining facility open during our stay was the bar - open to the lobby. It carpet was soiled and stained. The huge breakfast buffet included many items and for the entire time we were there it was swarming with people. Tables were not cleared for 20-30 minutes, it was difficult to find a staff person to bring coffee. Most of the food looked mediocre or tired. Really. Expected more from Radisson. My husband insists we go back to Hiltons.
Pros. The room was very clean and the location could not have been better. Able to see the city of Bergen by foot from this hotel.
Cons. A bit warm at night in the room as air conditioner was not all that effective
