The pick up at AVIS was absolutely terrible. In a small airport like Palm Springs the pick up window was under staffed. When I finally got to the window they did not have the car we had reserved. When we were assigned a car it was not available and we waited more. Finally my wife went to the AVIS desk for the privileged renters and told that lady we had been waiting almost two hours and we needed help because I am diabetic. That person got us the AVIS car we had prepaid for and within 5 minutes we were on our way. The return process was back up for some reason. I waited in the car for probably 15 minutes. Then all of a sudden everything opened up and a person checked the car in and I headed to the terminal. Overall the service we got from AVIS at the Palm Springs airport was terrible.

Terrible. You guys didn’t send the correct car over. I ordered a suv and you guys send over a different code to Avis so I was stuck with a sSedan. You are horrible. I will never use this website again ever. You guys suck. I can’t express enough how terrible you are

Lengthy wait was bothersome. Car assigned had someone already in it, when we approached it, and we had to change at car storage area to a less desirable car.

not the car I requested. They gave a smaller car to me.

We waited in line at the service desk over an hour to pick up our car. Once we went out to the parking lot, and attendant had already given the car assigned to us to someone else so we had to wait for another car. When we went to leave out of the Avis parking lot, there was a problem with one of the exit lines so we had to merge with the one that was working which took even more time.

The Volvo wagon was fine. It just smelled smoky.

first car was fine. somewhat well used but good on gas. after a week or so there was somesort of "fire" under the passenger seat, maybe some wire burned. it was very fast and we saw some smoke and smelled something burning. It was gone about as fast as it happened. Got a replacement car. Lady said it was new 2025 and was an upgrade. Kia telluride. It was nicer and better other than used more gas. That was our only issue. Everything else was good
