Pros:

Perhaps I should have read more carefully. Given the snow conditions, I rented an SUV and must have understood incorrectly as I expected all-wheel or four-wheel drive. I was offered a $150 upsell. Guy walking up next to me got a small all wheel drive which was not offered. Car was outside covered in snow and ice impossible to inspect thoroughly

All was fine except the pickup. There were about 6 customers that waited almost an hour for the Budget rep to arrive at the window so we could rent a car. I understand that things were crazy because of the snow, but is snow really that unusual for Aspen? After the Budget rep arrived, he wasn’t rude, but neither was he friendly. I felt more like I was a pain, than a customer.

One way rental from Aspen CO to Bozeman MT. Two day trip. Went awesome. Easy pickup and drop off. And much appreciated being able to upgrade to an all-wheel drive vehicle (nice Bronco Sport) verses 2-wheel drive since I was driving a mountains roads route in January.

Pickup was so fast and easy. None of the high pressure sales tactics to buy stuff you don’t need. The whole interaction took less than 2 minutes and pickup was super easy and convenient. Great place to rent a car in Aspen!

The counter people were excellent. We had a flat tire on our car in Glenwood Springs - so this was an emergency, last minute rental. Very stressful. The guy who helped us was extremely understanding and actually upgraded us to an SUV even though he was short cars that Sunday. That turned out to be so helpful since it snowed 9 inches that night. And when we needed car an extra day they let us have it for same daily rate as original sedan booking. Hertz was only company in Aspen that had any cars that weekend. Loved our experience!!
