In 2004, we set out to change the travel industry by reimagining how travelers search for flights. Now, nearly two decades later, we’re reimagining the in-travel experience as well. Opening in Spring 2021, KAYAK Miami Beach is a locally-inspired, 52-room boutique hotel, powered by KAYAK.
We set off on this new adventure to explore how design, hospitality and tech can come together to create holistic experiences for travelers. Our hotel is located at the heart of Miami Beach’s vibrant cultural and culinary scene in a historic Art Deco landmark hotel. It boasts a wrap-around public rooftop area, pool, bar and on-site restaurant, Layla. From locally-inspired art to cozy common areas to intimate dining experiences, we wanted to bring everything we love about travel into a hotel and put a tech-forward twist on it.
At KAYAK Miami Beach, we get to geek out. Our guests enjoy a host of innovations during their stay to help make their experience a bit more seamless. Guests will soon be able to message hotel staff 24/7, request room upgrades, unlock their door and control room features from the KAYAK app. Notifications of on-property events, room-ready alerts and more will also be available on the app later this year. Kiosks in the lobby offer expedited check-in and a place to browse your dining options. Plus, each one of our rooms will feature a mix of tech-forward amenities from connected TVs to Marshall speakers.

But we’re not just tech-driven. We’ve also dug deep into our surrounding community, drawing inspiration from local architecture to art to fashion to food. Nestled along the Collins Canal, our setting provides plenty of opportunities to get energized and check out local nightlife, as well as settle back and enjoy outdoor events in Collins Park.
Back at the hotel, enjoy amenities like hotel bikes, custom dominoes and Le Labo bathroom essentials. Our rooftop pool lets you enjoy the energy of the beach, while giving you a hideaway to enjoy those Miami golden hours. Layla, our on-site restaurant, features modern Middle Eastern cuisine and is inspired by the love story of Layla and Majnun (a Persian folk tale of two star-crossed lovers).
