Very friendly and helpful staff especially at pick up but also at drop-off. Upgraded the car without any difficulty and were very glad to have a larger car (Camry) for a long trip. Plenty of trunk room-fit two large suitcases and a smaller one as well as a couple of backpacks.Cons:
I was originally told I could be picked up as long as the pick up point was within 2 miles of the rental place (Fullerton) so I arranged to be picked up but the morning of the pickup when I called to change the pick up time, they had no record of agreeing to pick me up at all!Avis

That the inside of the car was clean and there was a full tank.Cons:
When you book a car online they have the car you booked not make you take a $2 a day upgrade when it was there fault for not having the car in the first place. Also they need to train there employees to take better care of the customers and not let them stand in the lobby waiting to be checked out while they wait check everyone else out. And they could have washed the car saying it rained the day before is no excuse to give me a dirty on the outside car.10.0 Wonderful

The minivan was ready when I arrived to pick it up. The 2016 van had 36,000 miles on it but did not have any mechanical problem.Cons:
The interior of the KIA minivan I rented for 5 days was the dirtiest of any vehicle I ever rented in more than 30 years. The carpet, seats, and windows were covered with dirt, smudge and trash. Cup holders had rotten food in them. One seat looked as if someone had thrown up on. All six of us driving from Anaheim to Phoenix and back got sick. On return, the branch manager blamed the dirtiness on "Avis Corporation". I said the branch manager is responsible for cleaning of the cars not Avis. At the end he gave me a mediocre $27 discount off of $461 rental invoice with an apology. I said apology not accepted. Overall, a very bad experience from a reputable rental company.10.0 Wonderful

The vehicle we used was a jeep grand cherocke, we drove the car a little more than 1000 miles. So a car with better gas milage would havr been nice. But i think the jerp we used averaged apptoximately 21.5 mpg, so i cant complain too much.6.0 Okay

The staff did not notify me that they had no cars eventhough Kayak.com allowed me to book online. But, i was notified 2 hours before I was suppose to pickup the car to drive to my flight.Cons:
Kayak and Budget need to figure out the rental inventory before allowing customers to book. And the system should also allow ample time for the potential customer to resolve the inventory booking error.2.0 Poor
