Travelers always love to be in the middle of everything and when you are staying in an old European city like Budapest, it is important to have a hotel that is located right in the center of the city. If you are staying at a hotel where you can walk outside and see Hungarian culture, this hotel is located in the right place. If the hotel has amazing dining inside of its walls, it is that much more of a great location. If you think a place with amazing dining and a location in the center of an old European city doesn’t exist, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest – a hotel that checks those boxes.
When you arrive at the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest, you’ll be impressed at the charm of the hotel. Upon checking into your room, you’ll appreciate the spacious and luxurious accommodations along with the complimentary WiFi and large desks. The chairs also give you a great space to relax after a day spent out and about in the city.
As for dining, the restaurants in the hotel are some of the best in the world. NOBU has a long reputation of being a fine dining staple in major cities like New York and Los Angeles. Bisztro is a restaurant that features not just traditional Hungarian food but Austrian as well.
With a spa also located on the premises, the Kempinski Hotel Corvinus Budapest is a great place to spend some time in one of Eastern Europe’s great cities.

The location is excellent. The problems are: lack of training of staff x cost. You might think that this is a Kempinski Hotel and you are safe, but unfortunately you are very wrong. SPA is mediocre in a city famous for its baths. Check-in was a joke. It was hard to believe I was at a Kempinski -- and I have been staying at Kempinski all year (e.g., Munich several times, Berlin, etc.).
Pros. Wonderful location. Very attentive and professional staff. A great value for the cost.. Budapest is now one of my favorite cities in Europe. Clean, beautiful and exciting night life!
Cons. Everything was perfect
Pros. Convenient to walk around, pretty near shopping district, lovely rooms, comfortable bed and generally well-equipped all around. The Es Bistro was also a highlight. Would definitely recommend!
Pros. Great service really surprising
Pros. Location is very good, restaurants in the hotel are expensive but great (it has NOBU and others), the rooms are good, we got an upgrade and the room was great.
Cons. Nothing, everything was above average, the staff is above average, the normal room is small, we got an upgrade and the other room was above average.
Pros. I have been planning to stay in Budapest for over a year now. It was really important to me that the hotel has an excellent location and I preferred the spa experience over the view of the Danube. However...
Cons. Only my first day was I able to use the sauna. I was the one who had to discover that it is broken and over heating. I had a burn mark from the previous day and the next morning I discovered that the thermo meter is not working any more it was extremely hot in there and since they could not fix the problem they had to shut it down for the rest of my stay... I was disappointed since that was the reason I booked Kempinski...
Pros. This hotel was in the most perfect location! The Xmas market was right behind the hotel, the river and Chain bridge were about 2-3 blocks away, and the famous shopping street, Vaci uti was 1 block away. The rooms were so comfortable, and they provided slippers and plush bathrobes.
Cons. The perfumed smell in the lobby and hallways was a bit overwhelming (luckily it did not permeate the rooms or it would have been a problem). They kept playing an Ad for their hotel on the TV which I found sexist and offensive (showing their maid taking a bubble bath and dressing in a lace thong before coming to work at the Kempinski hotel chain (what is that all about?).
Pros. location, size of room, folks at front desk were very helpful
