FAQs for booking flights from Manila to Dubai

  • How can I fly from Manila to Dubai?

A few airlines are offering direct connections between Manila and Dubai. They include Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and Emirates. Other airlines serving the route have at least one layover included on the trip, and it is important to note that some connecting flights are cheaper than flying direct. Some of the potential layover options, if you choose to book connecting flights, include Bahrain with Gulf Air, Muscat when flying with Oman Air, and Guangzhou with China Southern.

  • How do I make my trip more sustainable?

Avoid plastic bottles and cans during your flight and instead go for reusable bottles. You can also consider booking nonstop flights instead of connecting flights, since connecting flights will leave a higher carbon footprint because you cover a larger distance. Also, go for airlines that have adopted sustainability practices. For example, Etihad Airways has a lot of its flights in Abu Dhabi and are served by fully electric vehicles, and it is already trialing the use of sustainable aviation fuel for use on some of its flights.

  • How do I get from Dubai International Airport to my accommodation?

The only transfer options from DXB to the city center are taxis and train. A taxi is far more convenient than using the train since it will drop you at your accommodation regardless of where it is located in the city. However, if you choose to take the train, you will be dropped at Burj Khalifa Station, from which you can either walk or find other means to get to your accommodation.

KAYAK’s top tips for finding a cheap flight from Manila to Dubai

  • Looking for a cheap flight? 25% of our users found flights on this route for $229 or less one-way and $350 or less round-trip.
  • Travelers have the option of two landing airports in Dubai. You can either land at Dubai International Airport (DXB) or Sharjah International Airport (SHJ). DXB is closer to Dubai compared to SHJ and offers more connections to international destinations, but it is also busier and therefore has longer waiting times.

  • While there is a bus service from downtown Manila to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, a taxi is the best option when commuting to the airport. Buses are often overcrowded and highly affected by traffic.
  • When booking a solo ticket for your child, Philippine Airlines is a good option for this route. It has an unaccompanied minors service, which is designed to make sure that your child is safe and secure for the whole trip when not accompanied by a parent.
  • It is worth noting that of the popular airlines serving this route, Philippine Airlines has the best baggage allowance for economy passengers, with two checked bags compared to Emirates, which has an allowance of one checked bag, and Cebu Pacific which only allows one carry-on for free.

The food was amazing on our flight. So many options for movies and shows to stay entertained for 12 hours.

Airline did not have enough vegetarian meals for all guests, and crew were not adequately trained to handle this.

Priority boarding for Silver and Premium Economy was very disorganised, in fact, non-existent.

Nothing, all that I know is that I will never travel with Emirates again Qatar is were I belong. You guys should send someone over to experience what true acomadation is, Emirates has the worst food that I ever eat on any airline ,even jetblue has better food and snacks that curry Indian garbage you guys serve just make people sick.

A very disappointing flight on this Emirates business class. Staff were not efficient and service was not the e usual Emirates experience. Good was particularly bad with very dry chicken and drinks that I had to press call button before getting a drink as my food sat and continue to get cold.

Worst flight I ever had I payed for special seats with underpriced which I never recieved. I will like you to make sure that I am refunded my 134.00 dollars that I paid for the seats that I never received. I am looking forward for Kayak to look into this issue with underpriced because they took my money and never booked the seats for me with the airline.

I wish Emirates had lights to Philadelphia (PHL) in USA.

Not too happy with ground staff at Dubai airport. We had asked for wheel chair, and we were told to walk a long distance, poorly organised. And then at boarding to Mumbai flight wecwere treated rudely by the local Emirates staff forced to check in our cabin bags, we told them we were transiting.

Okish. But for £550 , I’d have preferred a better experience

My favorite airline when traveling to the UAE. Great food and great service.

Not good - chair back could not move back for premium economy. Not worth the price

The back of the chair - premium economy could not move back - not worth the price

It was okay. Boarding the staff made you feel rushed like we were late or something

It was great. The staff were so nice and helpful the food was great and they always made sure I was okay. As a foreigner I was worried about the language barrier but it was absolutely no issues. I highly recommend

Crew: Everybody was polite. People just need to get efficient and less reworking things. Entertainment: Could have move movies and games. The “music” section is a joke, only ONE available. Food: The food provided on the flights boarding in china needs a serious reworking. Too much oil, bad for your stomach, tastes too artificial and the eggs were a giant mass of green dough.

We were diverted to Chengdu, because of bad weather and finally made it to Chong King about 7 hours later

No wheelchair service at all ( I did request that service and also purchased the priority assistant bundle) , what a waste of money

Never got the wheelchair service when my parents arrived at LA . My mom was 74 , also my dad was 84 years old, both don’t speak English. I double checked with the front desk at Phoenix airport, making sure that they will be taking care of.

Food was terrible. Fish was equal to a sausage and scrumbled eggs were terribly green with a quite weird fllavour. Everybody with me hated all options. The best food was the bread with butter.

We bought an upgrade to Business Class at the airport but did not realise that it was not the regular Business Class. The 787 Dreamliner was very dated with the seats not as comfortable as other airlines and some things were almost coming off. We were then told that because it was an upgrade at the airport, we get to sit in the BC cabin but will be served economy class food. So when everyone else got served in china ware, we were given the tray you got in economy class. The wifi does not work. It only connects to watch movies (which is the same as what you find in the ICE) but the internet does not work. The cabin crew while were friendly, were not responsive. Overall, I will never fly China Southern again.

My finger has been hurt by seat, but no answer from you.

Great ride! arrived safe and sound. Everything was great altho its still uncomfortable seats too small space to pass through in.

Not much legroom in economy seats and aisle. Bathrooms are not maintained well. Staff can be friendlier. Food is barely edible.

The PAL employee who assisted my minor children went above and beyond her job and our expectations! Sophia was kind, courteous and made sure my children were taken care of!

Service was good but food needs maybe it’s just me Cause I am a foodservice supervisor more menu Sampling to get better quality when packed to be reheated . Vegetables are already dark and over cooked and breaded entrees are not the best choice I guess . All airlines meal service doesn’t appeal To me.Cause this trip I’ve used 4 different airlines and nothing good in all of them food wise. Thanks

Overall it’s very acceptable I will gave an A.

They were two hours late!! Threw everything else planned off.

Flight was cancelled and rescheduled to 205 in the morning at the peril of passengers. No hotels provided by the airline. Passengers left stranded at airport. Not acceptable. I was able to get a hotel at my own cost outside of the airport. No reimbursement. Won’t be my choice in for future travels.

Worst airline. They had 3 security checks just to get onboard and no notification prior. Had to throw away any liquid bought at duty free because one of the security checks was prior to boarding the plane. My onboard media console was not working, the flight attendant said they will check on it but did nothing. Pretended we did not ask for it to be rectified for a 17hr plane ride. Horrible experience. My first and last time taking Philippines Airlines.

Uncomfortable seats for international flights. No usb charging yet they want you to use your device for entertainment. Very poor.

Reasonable. What they offer during the flight is not great, but the crew is polite and try to compensate it.

Price is the main attraction. Staff is OK but difficult to communicate with them due to general lack of English. Food is truly abysmal, the main courses (4) were barely edible. The choices for breakfast served at 5:30 am prior to landing at Gatwick airport were Spaghetti Bolognese or seafood fried rice. Choices offered for all 4 mains were either something rice or noodles. Shanghai airport layover is much too long in a very poorly serviced airport. We were unable to use WiFi; private lounges required cash only payment with no ATM or cash exchange open.

I was surprised and appreciate that they actually served a hot meal on such a short, early morning flight. The check in and boarding was hassle free and most of all my Alliance Status / Code Share was recognized and the revelant courtesy was extended; other than some needed attention to detail concerning the cleanliness of the cabin, and some unnecessary aggressive wording their safety briefing, it was an overall pleasant flight, and I would certainly fly with them again.

Flight was delayed for more than 3 hours, food was mediocre, seat didn’t recline

Lost Baggage - very frustrated…learned that bag was never put on plane.

I think it’s time that somebody set a standard for the temperature in the cabins. I would rather it be colder than anybody that wants to have a blanket have a blanket to keep it so warm at times is unbearable and quite uncomfortable. That’s the only thing I would add.

For the price we paid, I couldn’t complain. Was good value for money. Service was excellent but food was mediocre. Crew were excellent and spoke English. You will never go hungry. The food was ample but was mediocre. Entertainment limited and wifi doesn’t all allow you to access some social media. The best part was comfortable seats and bed (business class) with a screen to close out the rest of the cabin.

For the price we paid, we had a really good flight. The seats and bed (business class) was extremely comfortable. I have no complaints. The crew were very attentive and helpful. They spoke English and there were no misunderstanding although their English wasn’t perfect or fluent. You will never go hungry as there was ample food and drinks but their food for mediocre. The entertainment was limited to older movies and the wifi didn’t allow you to access some Social media. Apart from the above, it was a very pleasant flight. Would highly recommend them.

Good airline for the price. The Air stewardess are great, nothing is to much trouble. Will use again.

Cheapest option from Gatwick £400 cheaper than Emirates and Qatar. Entertainment no where near as good as Emirates and Qatar, but saved £400 so all good.

exceptionally good with the particular flight because no delay. hope that happens for every flight

Boarding had us in a tunnel with no AC for 15 minutes. Not planned well. And you have to pay for water, get at airport

Kind of worried due to typhoon but yeah we can't do about nature thing. So okay naman kudos to all crews and pilots for the safe landing.

it was good experience though we wait for a minutes in the railday due to no available parking. Keep it up all..

I was memorable! THIS FLIGHT WAS ALL ABOUT WAITING! WAITING TO BOARD SINCE FLIGHT WAS DELAYED. WAITING IN THE RUNWAYS NO AVAILABLE PARKING BAY. FOR THE LAST TIME WAITING FOR FOOD COMPENSATION

Can buy food instead of online order. Maybe limit the meal so no waste.

Great it a good airline but no food or entertainment as it’s a airline

Bags lost for the second time. Will not fly with Cebu Pacific again.

Very good no problems with this airline friendly staff at checking ask you where you want to sit left on time everything easy, it’s a budget airline no food or entertainment unless you buy on the flight but who need food etc on a late night flight.

Delays on the tarmac, uncomfortable even after paying extra for premium seats. Bags lost in transit, no compensation provided
