I enjoyed it! In that case, I should have been offered this choice. On my first trip to Miami, I was asked to pay $320 for my luggage just for getting it totally broken. I cannot accept this situation at all!!!!
Be very careful of the initial low price because Avianca wil bill you for a carryon of $120 or a checked bag for $120. Also, be careful with connections because the customs entry process is slow and the connecting terminal is not close.
My whole return flight itinerary, 3 flights, got canceled without any warning to me because I missed one of the earlier flights 3 weeks ago
They charged me $120 to check one bag and then charged me another $120 for a carryon. Ridiculous!
Horrible. I have been trying to speak to a representative to know why I was over charged but I get redirected to AI Vianca everytime with no results. Is there an agency that oversees airline gouging? I will never fly or recommend Avianca to anyone not that you care.
Almost we lost our connection from Bogota to Aruba 🥴 Because we get out late from the plane of Medellin
Kiwi is the worst, I couldn’t flight for work, Kiwi kept 100% of my money (they didn’t even return the taxes) I will not buy with kiwi again
Avíanca now has cero entertainment, food and even water for their travels in economy. We spend all 6 or more hours ignored or we are offered products to buy using only credit card .
The airline doesn’t provide nothing To their customers. No water , no food , no any drinks, no any kind of entertainment for free or at least paid with money cash currency . They sell some basic goods only credit card . Shame for an old international long distance trip. Never again .
Overall a great. However, the seating is way too narrow, for guys with any shoulder width. Luckily the crew moved the guy next to me, or it would have been miserable.
Boarding was messy, without adequate priority assignments. Information at boarding was poor. One of the agents to whom I asked why group 2 was boarding after groups 3, 4 and 1 (in that order) replied: Orders of the captain. If you want to know the reason, ask him”. That was a ridiculous response.
The plane was not well maintained. The entertainment system didn’t work properly, eg moving map. Many of the seat controls did not work. Cabin temperature fluctuated considerably during the flight. The seat allocated was poor, it was noisy and offered no privacy. The perfume in the toilet triggered severe allergies. Crew was very goid.
Seats are too tight. Small space for long flights very inconvenient.
My baggage did not arrive, missed connection, service representative was not helpful.
I originally chose two aisle seats for my daughter and myself in the same row. We got seated in the middle, three rows apart. Both of the men sitting in front of us reclined their seats fully leaving us NO room. A totally uncomfortable flight for eleven hours.
Being a platinum member and having reserved an exit row I was bumped into a middle seat which should not be allowed. On top we landed 10 minutes early to wait 45 minutes on the tarmac at Heathrow. I used to love Iberia, loving it less and less
I had assist travel booked in Denver to Manchester, but not listed in HeathRow, my daughter use a spare wheel chair herself for me , when going thro to board at Heathrow there was no help travel down for the ramp until a member of assistance stepped forward and insisted he would take me down the very steep ramp, seems he was the only person concerned with my safety.
Room between seats unacceptable. If person front of you dropped down there seat even a little you could not be even a little comfortable. No sleep on flight
Non-responsive after a flight cancellation, basically the airline kicked us out of the airport to wait in an endless line to speak to a single representative. I found another flight luckily not with Iberia. Many were not so fortunate. I’m still waiting for a reply to my flight cancellation/compensation query 5 days later. A trans- Atlantic crossing was hot and cramped. Food was great staff were nice but never again.
