You need to weight all bags together because we were 2 and we allowed 4 bags plus hand carry and personal items. We trying to saved bag like we put our stuff in 3 bags so we don’t have to carry more bags and airline also save space time less bags less work. We had only 1.6 kg over and we requested crew he said it’s airline policy that you need separate bag that’s ruined our mod and carry that suit in our hand in plastic bag he didn’t understand that we have less bags that make sense if we brought over luggage then it’s problem. I think if you guys change your policy and weight all together that will be good
Better than other airlines but still not at the top with other airlines that you pay the same price and services and customer service are much more well performed with care and attention to the customer. Still a long way to go. Some of the flight attendants are speaking English like they translate direct from Turkish. They need to improve the customer service for a global travel.
Turkish airlines always is an excellent airline, bottle water, comfort kits were provided. Decent food on board, friendly staffs.
Temperature in plane in both segments was warm. Otherwise, great experience
Was not good experience going to Houston from Istanbul, had to wait about an hour and a half to just takeoff. Disappointed in that part.
Boarding via busess, like low cost airline. In their domestic hub. Insane!
My experience with Turkish Airlines was highly unsatisfactory. I was prevented from boarding my flight from Istanbul to Miami because they closed the gate 30 minutes before departure, despite my timely arrival. This inflexible rule forced me to book an alternative flight to Atlanta for $1,342.92, as there were no available flights to Miami. Upon reaching Atlanta, I had to book another flight with Southwest Airlines for $270.98 since there were no connections to Miami. Altogether, I spent $1,613.90 on additional flights. Consequently, my total travel time extended to 35.5 hours. The overbooked flight and the enforcement of such unreasonable rules enabled Turkish Airlines to exclude passengers without providing compensation, thereby compelling them to buy new tickets to reach their destinations. This practice is unacceptable, and I intend to report it to the Better Business Bureau and the relevant regulatory authorities.
Crew was not proactive and were busy laughing and talking instead of attending the passenger’s needs. Meals were served in a hurried manner.
Flight crew was very nice and we had a direct flight, which was great. My seat was very cramped, despite paying for the seats. The food was terrible and the check in process was a bit chaotic.
The plane was not well maintained. The entertainment system didn’t work properly, eg moving map. Many of the seat controls did not work. Cabin temperature fluctuated considerably during the flight. The seat allocated was poor, it was noisy and offered no privacy. The perfume in the toilet triggered severe allergies. Crew was very goid.
The flight was delayed over 3 hours and at the gate, we waited for an hour to start boarding. The gate lack of communication with the passengers was atrocious and when asked they even said they didn't work there and were just standing in for someone else so they couldn't give us an information about the flight status. The crew did not offer blankets, pillows nor headphones.
I fly to BNA with BA often and this was the worst experience. Arriving in nashville, check in was 1.5 hrs long in the queue with 1 very slow girl at the desk. When more staff came they only catered to priority customers. When all priority were checked in, instead of filtering from the top of the line they took the people from the end, the people who had been queuing for 5 mins vs almost 2 hours. The flight was delayed, for no good reason other than the staff took forever to do anything. At the gate there was zero organisation, we asked the crew what the delay was and they confirmed it wasn't the plane and it was the ground team. One of the flight attendants was one of the rudest I have EVER encountered, that man clearly hated his job, and people...I wish I'd got his name. Food was disgusting, seating was cramped. I've no idea what's changed in the last year but I'm truly shocked.
Booked Economy Premium the 3 seats with my daughters and I, the seats should have been able to tilt back but it only one worked. the crew said they would report it but didnt seem both about our comfort on the return journey.#
Sub par plane for an international flight. My seat was so cramped even after I paid for more legroom. i was basically in the aisle with everyone banging into me the whole time. Will not book again unless I have no other choice.
Terrible. Boarding was a mess. We were assigned middle seats and separate just to induce us to pay for better seats. Cabin luggage was checked in while space remained on the overboard lockers. I think they don't really care about the customer.
Non-responsive after a flight cancellation, basically the airline kicked us out of the airport to wait in an endless line to speak to a single representative. I found another flight luckily not with Iberia. Many were not so fortunate. I’m still waiting for a reply to my flight cancellation/compensation query 5 days later. A trans- Atlantic crossing was hot and cramped. Food was great staff were nice but never again.
Always an excellent experience. Staff are professional without being overly fussy.
Iberia is a much classier experience than their US partner airlines.
