This hotel’s location is perfect. My room had not been updated. The elevators are very small so long wait time. Staff are very kind and accommodating. I never was able to get the correct water temperature in the shower. The pillows were poor but the mattress was fine. South rooms have a nice sunny view since there are no tall buildings across the way. For the price, it was worth it since I was solo.
Our standard king room was large (for New York) and very comfortable. Up to date bathroom and fixtures but in a conventional style Great service. Free baggage check. Art deco lobby, but building has a vaguely venetian facade. Excellent location just off Times Square. will stay here again.
Pros. Did not stay there. Trip was canceled.
Pros. Good location. Pretty exterior.
Cons. The sheets were not very soft. The whole place just kind of needs a facelift - getting pretty dingy. No places to plug in electronics -- just a couple outlets with lamps and things already plugged into them. Had to move the table next to the bed to get an outlet. Light to the bathroom is outside the bathroom. No tea and coffee in the room, despite a "resort fee"
Pros. Staff were friendly and attentive. Location is great for broadway shows and to visit time square.
Pros. Midtown’s best location, nice sized-rooms for NYC, friendly staff
Cons. no issues
Pros. Location, location, location
Cons. Reduced price on breakfast
Pros. The hotel seem to anticipate the big and little things an experienced traveller expects and as i found out, even unusual requests . My companion is superstitious about room numbers and the front desk changed our rooms with a smile as if they do this all the time. Most of all, the hotel is very well located. it is close to the shows and restaurants that bring you to new york in the first place.
Cons. The staff took a long time to get our bags from storage when we checked out. We did not miss our connection but i was disappointed for the hotel because they were doing a really good job. Overall however, I give the Belvedere my highest recommendation.
Pros. Location is close to so many great New York sights. We walked to most of the stuff we wanted to see.
Cons. Elevators are a bit old. But there are 4 total - Pro tip use the ones at the ends of the halls, they are smaller but less used.
Pros. Good Location . Comforts ok. Overs all good.
Cons. Breakfast should be included. Size of room for four people should be more.
