For the location, comfort and the time of year (weekend in December) this was surprisingly affordable. We also had a pretty view of the downtown skyline, and the Hudson River. I would stay here again 10/10
Pros. Location
Cons. A flat screen TVs instead of the very old Zenith tv; shower curtain looked clean, but smelled moldy; cheapest quality toilet paper; tub drained terribly and left standing in dirty water, even when turning off water in between lathering
Pros. 50th floor, amazing view of Hudson River, Freedom tower, WTC Memorial....and completely different view at night w everything lit up.... comfy bed, 1 block to dunkin, Krispy Kreme, couple blocks to Delmonicos, Bobby vans...1 block to WTC Memorial....very good COVID-19 safety and security
Cons. The rooms had mold on the ceiling, the bathtub didn’t drain, old and dirty rooms, mattress was awful. Outrageous for a Hilton property in NYC no less.
Pros. Well, the fact that the company contracted by this third party site went bankrupt, canceled our reservations & didn't return our money was a buzz kill.
Cons. There is no guarantee in going through third party booking sites so buyer beware. You take a risk & the booking site is absolved should anything go wrong with those with whom they are contracted with your reservations. You as the consumer are left in the lurch. Consider going to the reputable hotel chain directly instead.
Pros. I loved the staff, the room and the pool
Cons. We had a reservation during phase one of reopening from pandemic. The hotel was filthy. No one was wearing masks. The staff did not care. Asked me for a tip for a better room. We left my wife was crying nonstop. They would not refund our money.
Pros. The concierge was great and the views from the room were amazing. Extremely convenient location.
Cons. The front desk was understaffed, distracted, and unwelcoming (the lobby was not overly busy, I would have understood if so). The room was dated, not terribly clean, and had an odd smell to it. Overall, not the experience I was expecting for the price.
Pros. The location
Cons. The walls were paper thin.
Pros. The location is very convenient, and the view is a killer. So awesome !!
Cons. With exceptional sales promotion will make people like me to travel here more
