Pros. location. closed to subway
Cons. bathroom in a hallway. small room. noise
Pros. it was good price and last minute
Cons. my bathroom was in the hallway, no mention of this at the front desk. it was also shared with another room. not a good look
Pros. Location
Cons. Bathroom outside of room
Pros. Great location
Cons. Shared bathroom for 4 rooms on the floor. This should be stated front and center when booking as opposed to the description information afterwards.
Pros. This is a great location in the upper west side. Lots of little places for coffee or food. Several drug stores, diners, etc all within a block. Located across street from red line (1/2/3 train) so very convenient to rest of city. Nice neighborhood.
Cons. I made a mistake & requested 2 "superior double rooms", which could not accommodate a rollaway bed. Wasn't a huge deal, I had a sleeping bag for my (10 year old) son, and we weren't in the room much anyway. The other room had room for the pack & play for an infant, so it all worked out - just realize that a double room is for a double bed, desk, & not much else in most cases. But for 2 nights in NYC, for 2 rooms on short notice, a great price (140/rm/night). Heat in room couldn't be turned off - we ended up running the AC to offset the heating.
Pros. Clean.
Cons. Small.
Pros. My only critique was that the bed was a tad uncomfortable for me, but both my mom and aunt were quite comfortable. The room was small and cozy, but it has everything a visitor needs. The staff was wonderful and kind. The location is excellent - right next to a subway stop that makes it easy to see NYC in minutes. Also blocks from Central Park. Neighborhood is safe and clean. Next to a drug store, n case you forgot something. Loved it and would stay there again.
Pros. The front desk guys were exceptional. Truly cared to make sure I was a happy customer. It will be my permanent go to on the west side from here on out!
Cons. No hotel at these great prices can be perfect so there is no point in complaining when everything else was spot on!
Pros. The room was exactly what we'd reserved. It was small but clean and quiet. The hotel staff was very nice. The location is excellent. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the subway right outside the door.
Pros. Nice place to stay for the Thanksgiving parade. Short walk to the subway on 96 street and central park. Would stay here again! Father and two sons.
Cons. Had to pay $7 for internet connection.
