Pros. The design of the hotel was really cool, and the rooms, while small, were super efficient. This is like European travel, smaller rooms but you realize you don’t need a ton of extra guest room space.
Cons. My only complaint was not being able to truly control the temperature of the room. I never felt like I really was able to make a difference in the temp of my room.
Pros. This was a revelation. I highly recommend this hotel as a solo traveler. It reminds me of the very small but well laid-out hotel rooms I've been to in Europe and Tokyo. But when you're traveling alone, this is all the space I require. Good for couples as well. They have this king sized square bed so you don't have to step over the person you're sleeping next to which I thought was a brilliant way to save space but still have premium accommodations. Mattress was super comfortable. The whole room could be controlled w an iPad on the bedside table. You could use it to turn on/off the lights, do mood lighting, control air, and use it as your TV remote. TV was huge and you can hook up to any Apple or Android device and stream your stuff to it. Blackout curtains were great being near so much city light. Curtains and opaque blinds are both also controlled by iPad. Very hip LL coffee / bar / food area that's open 24/7. Great art, innovative design, very cool aesthetic. Appreciated the automated check-in because I hate talking to people.
Cons. This was surprising: there was always trash in the hallway whenever I came back to my room. This is a minor complaint, but it happened at all times of day during my 48 hour stay. Like, there was a used Kleenex right in front of my door when I first arrived, and probably 6-8 boxes piled on either side of my room. For me, this was a huge splurge so that was a bit disappointing but the room itself and common areas were sparkling clean. Maybe they don't have as much staff as other hotels? A lot was automated. Also, I've been to a lot of newer hotels that have 3-prong outlets w a USB option, which I like, and this place didn't have any. Other than that, I have no complaints and still 100% recommend this place.
Pros. Ultra modern hotel. Rooftop bar was amazing. Some of the best views in the city. Excellent location
