Pros. Location was great, walkable everywhere in under 20 minutes. Room was cool looking.

Cons. A blanket in the bed. A window in the room. Not having to pay for every individual breakfast item. $3 for a banana after $400 a night for the room is insane.

Pros. I loved how convenient of a location it was. I went with my fiancé and another couple and every night we went out, we walked back with no issues. The Rooms were cool and staff was nice. Our rooms never got cleaned but we did receive new towels. Our tv was messed up when we got there but the repair man came up within 30 min and fixed it. Some reviews made me hesitant to book aloft because they've had complaints of rude staff but from our experience with them, they were very helpful and greeted us as we walked in and out of the hotel.

Cons. I don't have any real complaints other than prices of their "extra options." Parking was ridiculously overpriced so we just went right down the street and parked for $40 the whole weekend which is a bargain compared to what aloft was offering. Also the price for breakfast was also overrated for what they offer. If you want a good breakfast, I suggest finding a local place to try. Much cheaper, less basic. That being said, the negatives about this hotel are greatly outweighed by the positives. I will be looking To stay here again.

Pros. Went to a Saints game, it was a great location and easy walk to the French Qtr. as well as the Superdome. Enjoyed the modern décor, lobby bar and pool table.

mescala88, May 2015

Pros. Close to french quarter, river walk.

Cons. Room was not cleaned during 3 night stay, even after request. Pool was closed. Bar closed early. Rude staff that was very unhelpful. Would not stay in an aloft again unless absolutely necessary.
