In an ironic twist of finding the country in the heart of Los Angeles, the Farmers Daughter hotel is a kitschy, country-chic boutique hotel that does just that. Guests will experience all the charm of being down home during their stay while being just short distances from Beverly Hills, Hollywood and West Hollywood.
The rooms and suites at Farmers Daughter are truly inviting with farm-inspired quarters that feature in-room dining, rocking chairs, hardwood floors, rainfall showers and denim duvets with plush bedding. All rooms have complimentary WiFi and flat-screen TVs. When guests upgrade to a suite they will have a kitchenette, courtyard view and living room with a pull-out sofa.
Guests will full appreciate TART Restaurant and Bar that has an indulgent ever-changing menu for its visitors. Check it out for happy hour, a romantic dinner or use the dine-in feature from the country-style room. A daily whiskey tasting hour is also a perk that any guest won’t want to miss partaking in at the bar.
Other amenities at Farmers Daughter include using the outdoor pool with sundeck, bike rentals, on-site yoga, membership to Easton Gym just down the street and live music at the bar. Of course, being within walking distance to the Farmers Market, Museum Row, Grove Entertainment Complex and CBS Television City isn’t a bad perk either. Los Angeles International Airport is only 10 miles away for guests that need to travel by air and need access to the rest of the world.

Cons. They charge me the things that they said they wouldn’t charge for!
Cons. Concrete floors, cold and dirty
Pros. I liked the vibe, Peets next door, nice room. I like the decor - loved the Bull Farm diorama!
Cons. View out my window, but it was OK.
Pros. Great location for the places I wanted to see (comedy clubs, upscale dining, great mall).
Cons. Only problem is the sign for the hotel. If you are arriving after dark you will not see them. I passed it twice and ended up parking somewhere else and walking the street to find it (and every place you park in LA costs money).
Pros. I loved the ambience, tight down to the sausage and egg art on the wall in my room! The open air feel of the hotel was perfect for the sunny weather in CA. They have a nightly whiskey tasting and complimentary snacks at the front desk. There are plenty of areas to hang out outside your room and a foosball table in the courtyard. Although I didn't use the pool, I could see it from the 2nd floor deck and it was full of ducks (rubber ones, not real ones.) the location is right across from The Grove at Farmer's market so plenty of shopping and dining experiences are within walking distance. Also, the employees were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons. My bed squeaked every time I moved. It's a good thing I was so tired because I slept through most of it, but light sleepers would probably be bothered by it. The wifi is very slow. I wish there was self parking; I hate valeting my car.
Pros. Cute themed hotel and the theme was carried nicely throughout. Good location, steps from the farmers market and grove shopping.
Cons. The air conditioner in our room was crazy loud. It woke us up every time it turned on which seemed to be every 15 minutes, all night long.
