Staff always pleasant and asking if they can help in any way. Beautiful pool area. Good Wi-Fi. Just an all around excellent hotel.
Pros. across the street from powder sand beach - awesome location
Cons. in room housekeeping was inconsistent - had to call multiple times for refills on simple supplies.
Pros. Loved the room and layout. Family of 5 was very pleased and felt right at home. The resort is in the perfect spot with a shop next door if you need any forgotten items. Perfect walking distance to Pier 60 and good spot for the beach. I felt the cleaning staff was over the notch! They were so friendly and greeted us with big smiles every time we saw them.
Cons. Didn’t like the limited hours for the pool and it seemed a little too cold that the kids couldn’t stay in it long. Also wasn’t crazy about the parking fees since it’s our only option for staying at the resort and it was shared with the public which made it a little uncomfortable knowing anyone could access the resort via elevators. Should have a security pass for resident floors so the public cannot enter resort property etc.
Pros. My room was more than satisfactory, boasting incredible water views from every angle of the large balcony. Inside the room, I felt surrounded by elegance from the crisp white linens on the large king sized bed to the high end furniture choices used to compliment the large kitchenette. The bathroom was luxurious and spacious, perfect for relaxation after a long day on the adjacent white sand beaches. The staff, particularly my wait staff at Shor; Aki and Nate, as well as my bartender, Krystin; made me feel right at home as if I had known them for a lifetime. With their pleasant welcome and eagerness to make my vacation as enjoyable as possible, it was easy to see why this resort is so highly rated. I will most definitely arrange for another stay soon to revisit this beautiful resort and its amazing staff and will be sure to recommend the Hyatt Regency in the future.

Cons. the sheets were not changed in our hotel in 10 days. the hotel doenst have its own housekeeping staff it looks like. every day was a different maid.
Pros. Excellent food! Pool was not overcrowded, even on a holiday weekend. We were able to find a chair, no matter the time of day. Beautiful hotel. Friendly, gracious staff. Beds were comfy and we had more than enough pillows.
Cons. Technically, the beach is across the street. But we had great views of the beach and the harbor, especially from the upper floors.

Pros. We loved the room and view of the pool deck. The location is adjacent to a pristine beach, the beach walk and not far from shopping, dining and transportation. My wife got a shell massage at the Sandiva Spa, which she said was very nice and worth the expense. Our ice maker in our fridge didn't work, but the staff was helpful, fixed it quickly and brought us a bag of ice. The hotel dining was also very good. There were plenty of options, local flavors and the food was delicious.
Cons. There was nothing, that I noticed or experienced, that detracted from our short vacation. It's an upscale resort in a resort town. So the hallway carpeting is worn and wrinkling, and there are nicks and scuffs here and there. If you're the type of person for whom perfection is your expectation, then stop here. You're better off building your own perfect resort from scratch. Save this one for the rest of us.
