It was very close to a Metro station that could get you to pretty much anywhere in Paris. The rooms used the space very well. The bathrooms were great (the shower was FANTASTIC, and so were the locally sourced toiletries provided). Overall, the staff was great. They were very attentive to our needs. True to their word, they spoke Spanish, French and English, but as with anywhere in Paris, it's good to have at least a basic to intermediate knowledge of French to communicate with them. There we just a few small things that kept me from giving full marks. This hotel looks like it was recently remodeled/rebranded, so while it's in very good shape, there are some things that needed some upkeep (paint-chipped corners, for example). The breakfast offered was very nice, but I was disappointed to discover the cook on-staff did not know how to make a French omelette. When you're staying at a 4-Star hotel in Paris, you expect a true French omelette. What I got was eggs scrambled in-the-pan and allowed to set into a folded-over pancake. It didn't have any butter, chives, or any of the finesse that goes into making it. It was a disappointing mark on an otherwise fabulous breakfast. That being said, we would stay there again.
