Pros. The bed which was supposed to be a queen I swear it was a double. But the bed was comfortable.
Cons. The TV remote didn't work which wasn't a big deal as it turned out because the TV didn't work. Then we couldn't turn it off. It was on all night. Remember Poltergeist? The room smelled. They didn't allow smoking but I think it would have it would have been an improvement. The sign outside says $69 and up. We paid $123.+ When I asked about the price difference was told due to conference in town. Breakfast was the pastries in bags,(only two per person, who would want two?) bagels, canned fruit, cold cereal. A funny thing was, they had 4 boxes of tea available, all the same kind. If you don't like Jasmine Green tea you are SOL! Not a good experience at all.
Pros. North Temple Inn is very well situated for walking access to many downtown destinations. It is among the most affordable considering its location.
Cons. The property is a bit dated, in need of updating. Much of the maintenance work done within the rooms has an unfinished look to it - functionally complete but cheaply done (mismatched paint, obvious signs of patching, etc.). The fact that the maintenance has been done is a good thing, but that it is done on a tight budget seems evident. TV in room was an old-style tube television. Furnishings were chipped and scratched, but fully functional. Wireless Internet was variable.
Cons. At least five lamps in the room did not work. Tube style TV. No "do not disturb" sign for the door. Staff couldn't be bothered to help with a simple request.
Pros. Traveling alone I like the parking lot very close to busy streets And well lit
Pros. This spot is close to downtown. THe place is generally clean and well maintained, and the cost is very reasonable.
Cons. The only problem I would say was the carpets were old and not super clear
Pros. Very affordable. Great value.
Cons. Not super comfy pillows, nor comforter.
Pros. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Loved the location. Being one block away from energy solutions arena was very convenient.
Cons. Older hotel.
Pros. They let me keep my car in the parking lot for the rest of the day after I checked out The room was really clean The heater worked well
Cons. The breakfast wasn't that great The whole place is kind of run down and old
Pros. One block from ESA, very clean rooms, friendly, helpful staff. Have stayed here before and will again without hesitation. Rooms were small and slightly out of date but very comfortable. Breakfast was limited but I didn't stay here for that. Good value for what we received.
Pros. This is a former Howard Johnson's. The rates are reasonable, they even have a shuttle to and from the airport. The furniture is older but the beds are comfortable. The place was very clean. The breakfast was cereal, bagels, toast, canned fruit, juice, milk, coffee and packaged Danishes.
Cons. The continental breakfast was limited and some rooms open to an outside hall which is quite cold in the winter.
