Pros:
The staff was helpful and I felt I had all of the information I needed. The car was perfect for what we needed.5.6 Fair
Jul 2019
Pros:
The car was full with fuel and ready to go. The vehicle had a collision avoidance system which was helpful in an unfamiliar car.Cons:
The car had scratches and marks on every panel including dints on the roof. The vehicle interior was dirty with large stains on both front seats and the rear seat. The vehicle did not have cruise control or gps (a luxury but still would have helped). Insurance was confusing (booked two types). One location in Karmi’el

Pros:
The pick up in Naharriya was great. The staff in the office were helpful and pleasant and the sign out of the car went very smoothly. I had actually rented from Avis again because the staff in this office were so nice. Especially a women I think whose name is Hila.Cons:
The drop off was worse than horrible. We got to the office a little early and the man at the desk was very rude to my son and would not give us proper directions where we should take the car for drop off. We tried three different places having to navigate narrow, crowded Jerusalem streets. He had also told us we HAD to get the car dropped off by 1:45 because they were closing, after we had been told drop off was at 2. Finally, thanks to directions from a woman on the street we found the drop off. The man at the gate yelled, screamed at us rudely when we tried to confirm that this is where we were to take the car. There was NO signage in the garage other than from Budget so we were confused as to where to drive. We finally found the drop off and then were told that we had to walk back to the rental office to finalize the drop off, which is not the case with other companies who call into the office the details of the car without the customer having to go to the office. When we went back to the office we again had to deal with the EXTREMELY rude clerk and another man, who accepted no responsibility for how we were treated and said that the man at the gate didn't work for Avis. In the middle of our checking out we watched the clerk be completely rude and yell at another man who had rented a car and found out that there were none available when he came to pick it up. We felt badly for the man because they just stonewalled him and told him too bad and he would get his money refunded on Monday. Meanwhile, good luck to him getting a car from someone else at that late hour on a Friday. Anyway, we felt the entire office was unprofessional and rude and THEN when we went to leave (and by the way we stayed polite and nice through it all) the rude man got up and literally hit me with the door on my back as we were leaving because he wanted so badly to lock the door and it still was not even 2pm. That man should be FIRED and you should give your Jerusalem office staff customer service training or let them go learn from the staff in Nahariyya. One location in Karmi’el
