First and foremost when I arrived there, they did not have the car that I reserved and instead of try to accommodate me, they tried to give me a minivan. It was for my son’s eighth grade ball. I reserved a Tesla or something similar but a minivan to accommodate me. No no apology was given or anything I never reserve or rent from them again.Reviewed May 25 2024

This was the worst experience I’ve experienced with Avis/Budget. I normally book through the app but decided to use a 3rd party app. The truck was dirty and when asked for it to be cleaned, it was agin returned dirty after waiting 30 minutes. That’s an additional 30 minutes to the wait to get the truck. The truck had a broken taillight, dents & scratches all over it and broken light on the side mirror. When I cleaned the steering wheel with my wipes, they were literally brown with dirt.Reviewed Oct 17 2023

Cons:Staff in Jackson never answered the phone. We were getting in at 11:15PM and it said the booth closed at 11. Call all day to confirm and no one picked up. When we returned the car, we were charged double the price of what we rented it for. Horrible experience.Reviewed Dec 14 2019

Associate was unprofessional and flirtyPros:I liked the efficiency of service, the car was ready. It was a great experience. The rental process was hindered by the overly flirty associate.Cons:The associate was unprofessional. He asked me where I was going, where I worked, make comments about my appearance. When I asked him what was his purpose, he stated it was apart of his job. I came to get a car, not to be harassed at the counter by a hormonal college student. He thought my irritation was funny. I was not satisfied with the Insurance offer'sPros:The car was clean, good on gas, pick up and drop off was good.Cons:The car was too small, the agents didn't explain the Insurance well. I paid for insurance and locked the key in the trunk and I had to pay another $60. That could have been avoided if that was explained when I picked the car up. Thanks. Pros:The lady in Mobile that exchanged the car was nice.Cons:The car engine warning light came on and the radio screen went black about two hours into our trip. We were on a long trip from Jackson, MS to St. Augustine, FL. So we spent an hour locating and trading out the car for another one in Mobile. The lady at the counter was nice. But, there was no additional time added to our contract so we had to rush to Florida so that we wouldn't have an additional charge.Reviewed Feb 7 2017
